Doing social justice and/or human services work, sticking to your values and principles, and even just EXISTING in this current political climate can be scary and even dangerous. This course covers options, tools and best practices to manage an individual's or agency's online presence, protect accounts, secure sensitive information, and practice safe browsing and communication habits. By being mindful of what we share and taking proactive measures, we can help prevent unauthorized access to our personal and group accounts, reduce the risk of data breaches and cyberattacks, protect against doxing, harassment, violation of our rights, etc.
This training is eligible for 2 CEU hours. If you need a CEUs certificate for this course, please make sure you have indicated that you need CEUs and included your license number in your user profile info. Certificates are generally sent to the email listed in your user profile once a month.
